They would worship their gods. They would sacrafice animals and place them on the altar at the temple. The temple for some gods had a statue of them in it. All the gods apparently "controlled nature".

There was no part of King Solomon's temple that was specifically designated as a wood storehouse. However, at the rear and on the two sides of the temple there were huge chambers for storage. They varied in width, and were 5 cubits high.
