What was the Nazi world view?

Nazi policies included "Lebensraum", or view that German speaking people needed more living space (thus, justifying their thirst for conquest of neighboring lands). Also, Aryanism was practiced, with the central belief being that blue-eyed, blonde-haired, fair-skinned northern European Christians were to be prized above all others. Central control by the state, with dictatorial leadership was also viewed as more efficient than any other form of government. Propaganda was also viewed as essential to keeping the populace under control.

The Nazi philosophy was based on the ideas of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. Nietzsche believed that Christianity was the "Religion of the Slaves" and that humility was a self-defeating belief system. In his mind it was only strength and agression that were a benefit to their living practitioners. Not surprisingly Adolph Hitler adapted this to his own mutation of Eugenics, (trying to create a single master race) and carried it out to it's natural conclusion (in his mind at least). Friedrich Nietzsche was a notable exponent of existentialism as well.
