The Stamp Act taxed the colonists on documents such as wills, marrige licences, and so on. Baiscly anything that was printed on paper. While the Tea Act of 1773 was a tax on the tea that the merchants would buy from the British to sell in their store. After the British taxed the tea the Sons of Liberty and Samuel Adams dressed up like Mohawk Indians and threw the tea that was on the British ship into the harbor. This was called the Boston Tea Party. Then the Intolerable Acts was not a tax but an order to the colonists stating that no citizen to the king was allowed to settle west of the Appliation Moutains so that the settlers wouldn't have conflicts with the native Americans.
it was a direct tax on the colonists
The colonists were imposed with taxes and laws without their consent.
The Acts imposed on the Colonists were the Sugar Act, Quartering Act, and Stamp Act.
Due to the great distance between the colonies and Britain it was hard for Britain to enforce control over the colonists. The colonists got used to essentially governing themselves, so when British rule was more strictly imposed after the 7 Years War (Taxes imposed on the colonists were to try and alleviate the war debt, but led to "No taxation without representation!") the colonists rebelled.
The reason the British imposed the Tea Act on the Colonists was due to debt. Britain had taken on much debt to help the colonists and they were trying to recover some of the funds.

Yes, there were many taxes imposed on the American colonies by the British Empire.

by doing stuff
The parliament in England and King George imposed the intolerable acts because of the colonists acting up.
The main reason that the colonists resented the acts imposed on them by Parliament is that they had no say in the creation of those acts. This is the issue of taxation without representation that you learn about in American history in school.
it anger colonists because there freedom was going down and british was using them to pay for the debt they where in because of wars and they also imposed taxes on EVERYTHING just to have money .....
