The exact spot is not known. Military reports regarding the accident mentioned "Mannheimer Strasse" and "Neustatter Strasse" in or near the city of Mannheim, Germany. According to Wikipedia, the accident occured near railroad tracks. Google Earth shows that both streets still exist to this day. Coördinates: 49°30'13.43" N 8°30'12.37" O for the T-shaped intersection and 49°30'20.17" N 8°30'05.13" O for a single railroad track crossing Neustatter Strasse at a sharp angle. The exact location of the accident is most likely somewhere near here. Bear in mind that after almost 70 years the surroundings have changed dramatically.
