The Siege of Petersburg (outside Richmond, VA) lasted nearly 10 months, from June, 1864 to April, 1865. But it included various individual battles.

A series of land and river battles called the Battle of New Madrid (Island Number Ten) lasted from February 28 to April 8, 1862. Other protracted conflicts on the Mississippi River were the Siege of Vicksburg and Siege of Port Hudson.

Two other long battles for a single location were each about 2 weeks long:

Battle of Cold Harbor (May 31 to June 12, 1864)

Battle of Spotsylvania Court House, (May 8 to 21, 1864)
