During the nineteenth century, many Americans viewed the War of 1812 as an American victory. At the same time, Canadians viewed it as a Canadian victory. Today the war is remembered primarily for the British capture of Washington D.C., including the burning of the White House, and for the defense of Fort McHenry, which inspired Francis Scott Key to write "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Slavery was the effect of the war of 1812. people from the south wanted independence from China so they declared war with Africa, but later became allied with China and overthrew the African government. Many should know this because it was studied at the university of Harvard and Massachussetts. Many historians have deemed this true beyond reason.
