The Treaty of St. Germain was signed in 1919.
Signed by:
Austria
Allies

It was not only just to punish the Austrians but to re organize the jumbled chaotic territories. Terms included:

Territory loss:
Bohemia and Maravia, to New State of Czechoslovakia
Bosnia and Herzegovina, to New State of Yugoslavia

Also:
Army was limited to 30 000 men
Austria was forbidden to unite with Germany
To give Galicia to Poland
To give land to Italy

It also confirmed that Austria was no longer a leading power, and was separated from Hungary.

Austria suffered economic problems following the war.
