The evacuee's name, their parents, their host families, their destination and where they are from.
They were transported by trains and given name tags to identify them while the billeting officer sorted out where they would go within the villagers . xx eden (; haha
Where they were to go
A name tag is somthing what evacuees had to were in ww2 so people would now how the kids are
The name of the child, their school and a group name/number. They had a label for their suitcase and a label for their coat, to attach to themselves. I am trying to find out what information was on the reverse of the label i.e. where they were going to, etc.
evacuees wore non light clothing something dark preferably nothing floral
They had identification tags on them and information about their parents. The tags had the destination place on it. I understand the Ministry of Health also had numbers on them that referenced to papers on clipboards.

Iron-on name tags are much quicker to use, you just iron them on for about 8 seconds. If you choose a quality product, iron-on name tags will not fall off in the wash. Now you can even get color iron on name tags. Sew on name tags are fine, Cash's is the traditional provider of sew on name tags, as long as you are happy to sew on everything.
You can search the internet for iron-on name tags to find a number of companies that provide name tags for children.
