The Egyptians danced, in light of the fact it may of been a way of entertaining, this may have been used for pharaohs as well as the local Egyptians.
They started calling mummies mummies when the human was wrapped and when they were blessing the body with the sacred charms. They also started calling mummies mummies when the people who wrapped the body up thought of a name to call them and then they came up with the name when they put the oils on the body and mummified it.
Pharohs weren't actually buried in pyramids, there are little rooms inside the pyramids that the parohs and their possesions were put in. but first they went through the mumification process. so the pharos were stored in rooms in their coffins. sometimes they even got a whole pyramid dedicated to them. depending on how important they were.
a lot of stuff like trap doors and booby traps so that robbers couldn't rob all of the kings stuff the egyptians put jewels, servants, dishes, pets. they put everything in the tomb they thought the Pharaoh would need in the afterlife.
