there is non-alcoholic beer??? that's isn't even beer!!! If it isn't beer, it is not called Non-alcoholic beer. It is called Root Beer, which is a soft drink, or something else. Non-alcoholic beer has MOST of the alcohol removed, but NOT ALL. There is still some alcohol left in it so, if you drink enough you can still get drunk.
Guinness brewers Tony Carey and Sammy Hildebrand invented the "widget" in 1968. Slainte!
Ginger ale then root beer then dr pepper then coke

He invented the beer, created many jobs and did a lot of development in Dublin, building houses for the workers and looking after some other public amenities such as parks. There are many things he did. I have personally found that Root Beer was invented/introduced on May 16th.
The Irish Evidence shows that thousands of years ago, beer was spread throughout the Celtic nations by Irish clans. Later, this spread to mainland Europe, and eventually made its way to Germanic tribes, who were also known for brewing skills. This was the first "modern" beer. So to answer your question, it was the Irish/Celts.
