These is no such term as the first Pannonian war. The Romans fought in Pannonia twice. There is not a term for the first instance. In 35 BC the Pannonians, who were allies of the Dalmatians, were attacked by Augustus, who conquered Siscia (modern Sisak in Hungary). Not much is known about this campaign. The second instance was the Great Illyrian War in which the Pannonians joined a rebellion by the Illyrians, which lasted for nearly four years (6-9 AD). After this Illyricum was divided into Dalmatia and Pannonia.
