Lebanese ethnicities are usually defined by their religions since they are ethnically more-or-less a mix of the original Phoenicians, the Arab conquerors, the Crusaders, and the Turkish imperialists. The main religious groups include: Maronite Christians, Sunni Muslims, Shiite Muslims, Greek Orthodox Christians, and Druze.
