The most commonly used was Zyklon B, a cyanide-based pesticide.

Degesch was a chemical company consortium that manufactured the gas. It was owned 42.5% by IG Farben, 42.5% by Degussa, the rest by another company. Many chemical companies supplied components which went into the gas crystals. Dessauer did the actual manufacturing, the stabilizer came from IG Farben, the warning agent from Schering. Schering-Plough and IG Farben are still in business. US General Eisenhower had his headquarters in the IG Farben building immediately after Germany surrendered. The building had not been bombed.

Zyklon B is still manufactured, in Kolin in the Czech Republic, under the tradename Uragan D2, for use against insects and small animals.

Why did Nazis kill pregnant Jews?

They did not as a point of protocol, they were supposed to wait for the mother to come to term before killing both mother and child.

How did Gypsies come to be involved in World War 2?

In Nazi racial ideology, the Gypsies (Romani) were right up there with Jews as sub-human beasts. The Nazis sought to exterminate them, and many of them were massacred or sent to the death camps.

Please would you explain for children why the Nazis hated the Jews?

The Nazis wanted to be voted into government, so they gave the coutry a common enemy, they blamed the Jews for everything bad, as the world was in a depression and many Jewish refugees had just come over from Poland. Jews were only less than 1% of the population and the Nazis were voted in.

How could you keep the naZis from killing the Jews again?

After the 6 day war, the Jews took Israel once again. After the holocaust, the Jews and Israelis have prepared for war. Now they have the land and the fighting capability that once they had in King David's days. Wars will come and go. The Nazis are long gone. The new-Nazis are a white power group or groups with no means to go to war with the Jews.

What aspects of the Nazi killing machine were not copied from the Catholic Inquisition rule book on how to exterminate groups of people?

Come, come! This question is based on false assumptions about the Inquisition. I would not defend the Inquisition, but to suggest that it had some 'rule book on how to exterminate (sic) groups of people' is false. Bear in mind that the Inquisition was, at least in principle, primarily a court. Many of those convicted of heresy were not in fact execucted. The Inquisition did not:Force Jew and Muslims into ghettosHave mobile killing unitsHave extermination camps or other mass killing facilitiesIf what you are really asking about is something like 'What aspects of the persecution of the Jews in Spain re-emerged in the practices of the Nazis' then that should be posted as a question expressed along those line.

If the Nazis hated the Jews why they receibe money?

This question is confusing. Why did THEY receive money: are your referring to the Jews receiving money? If so when? Are you referring to the Nazis receiving money? If so, when. The Jews did not receive any reparations from the Germans for nearly 5 decades. The Swiss Banks took forever to give the money that belonged to the Jews back to them and some are still trying to get their money. Jews who paid Nazis did bribery payments to either get them free or not report them to the SS. Please retype your question if my information did not come close to answering your question.

Did the Nazis let the Jews celebrate the Passover?

Honestly. You are simply unclear on the concept. The Nazis didn't "let" Jews be, as in live and breathe as human beings with hearts and limbs. There was less tendency to shoot or beat a dog or a cow on sight than a Jew.The question of things that they could do or celebrate didn't come up.

How did so many Jews come under nazi control?

When the Nazis conquered the large part of Europe, their territories incorporated the majority of the global Jewish population.

How come we don't hear much about the Bataan death march?

That is a fine question. Most have never heard of it. I don't understand why.It was just as brutal and horrible as the Death Marches that the Nazis forced the Jews to do.

How did Judaism come to the US?

Answer:During the Holocaust Thousands of Jews escaped Nazi persecution by fleeing to countries such as Switzerland and France. Some went to England and then travelled to the US on a boat. Jews settled down across the US and have now grown to more Jews in America than in Israel. Answer:The above answer SEEMS to make sense, but there were Jews in America prior to the Revolutionary War. Jews that fled the Nazis came on ships such as the "St. Louis." President Roosevelt didn't want to upset Hitler, as this was before the US entered the war, and so they were refused entry and turned back to die at the hands of the Nazis. So the above answer is obviously not accurate.

Why does the frank family decide to leave Germany?

Anne Frank's family needed to leave Germany because the Nazis (who had come to power in Germany in 1933) were persecuting the Jews, that is, making their lives very difficult. There were, already at that stage, cases of Jews being severely beaten up in the street by Nazi penguin army newtest3
