The writers of the articles of confederations tweaked them a bit then adopted them as our own. they also came from King George in the sense that the founders of the Articles of Confederation hated his rules so much that they did the complete opposite. : )

There really were no successes of the Articles of Confederation. The only thing I can think of would be our ideas that transferred over to the Declaration. Mainly, the articles were a huge flop in our history. Sorry I couldn't give you what you wanted.
