The King"s speech is a film based on true events around the King George Vl's speech impediment (stutter) and the help he received from Australian Lionel Logue. The first major speech following his coronation took place at Buckingham Palace. With the support of Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) and Lionel Logue both of whom accompanied the King on all occasions when a speach was to be made the King was able to address both nation and commonwealth thereafter both live and in radio broadcasts
