Contrary to popular belief, the Mayflower did not land at Plymouth Rock; it landed in what is now Virginia, possibly at Cape Cod. The Puritans (pilgrims) only established a colony at Plymouth.

Well it got there and the voyagers survived, thus by definition there were enough supplies.
The compact was written AFTER they had landed so it doesn't state where they wanted to be located. Their intent was to land near Jamestown in VA, but they were blown off course by a storm and ended up in Mass.
