26th Amendment.
Amendment 15 says all citizens have the right to vote.
Such is the gist of the 12th amendment.
Basically it States that women get the same rights as men do.
There's no amendment that actually says *that*, but the 26th amendment gave 18 years olds the right to vote.
Amendment 26
The vietnam conflict began the want for the 26th amendment. Men who were 18 could not vote but they could put their life at risk in the war. They often said "Old enough to fight, Old enough to vote"
The major argument used in support of the 26th amendment was that if you were old enough to be drafted, sent into battle, fight and die for your country then you were old enough to have a voice in the governance of that country through voting.
ThE 24th Amendment.
There is no amendment that states woman can't vote.
26th Amendment.
The 15th amendment gave African Men the right to vote, and the 19th amendment gave women the right to vote.
