The Marine Expeditionary Brigade is smaller than the Marine Expeditionary Force, but larger than the Marine Expeditionary Unit. It is considered the "middle-weight" crisis response force of choice in the European and Southern Command Area of Operations. It is able to operate independently, as a service component, or to lead a Joint Task Force.
Commanders Fleet Forces
Task Force Task Groups are essentially groups of different Naval units (e.g., ships or submarines) assigned to one of the Navy's operational Unified Combatant Commands, or Fleets, around the world. While in homeport, they are assigned to their normal overall command; when they enter an area of responsibility that is covered by a unified command (e.g., U.S. Naval Forces Europe/Sixth Fleet in the Med), it is transferred to that overall command as part of a task group and larger overall task force. A Task Unit is just an individual unit (e.g., ship or submarine) within the group; an element is an individual or group of individuals that belong to the unit, or an asset that belongs to the unit. As an example, a Destroyer would be a Task Unit under an overall Task Group; if it has an onboard Helo for ASW operations, the Helo and its crew would be the Task Unit Element.
A lot will depend on the MOS and the reason or reasons for your failure. You finished boot camp and you are a Marine. The Corps will find a task for you that you will be able to accomplish and that will serve your Country.

Marine Air-Ground Task Forces (MAGTFs) are designed to operate as self-sufficient, combined arms units with a specific mission focus. While they are highly effective in executing their intended tasks, their narrow specialization makes them less suitable as the core around which a larger Joint Task Force (JTF) headquarters can be formed. JTFs require a broader range of capabilities and expertise to effectively coordinate and command diverse military forces across multiple domains.
The KC-130 is a multi-role, multi-mission tactical tanker/transport which provides the support required by Marine Air Ground Task Forces.
The Marine Corps fields specialized forces known as Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs) that can be deployed outside of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF). MEUs are versatile, expeditionary forces that include ground, aviation, and logistics elements, capable of conducting a range of operations including humanitarian assistance, crisis response, and combat missions. They are designed to provide a rapid and flexible response to emerging global crises.
Task Forces are composed as needed - they're not permanent entities. The Rangers have been - and continue to be - assigned to a number of different task forces.
