discrete transistors, usually made of germanium.

Since the year 2000, each December 2nd we celebrate the International Computer Literacy Day. This celebration was created with the intention of raising awareness about the large amount of people that still don't have access to the digital and as an intent to make computer technology accessible to disadvantaged communities.
This is a rather broad question... There are numerous differences between various generations of computers, and numerous things that could be meant by the term "computers." I have to assume the question refers more specifically to the various generations of computer processors. Between the first Pentium and the latest Core 2 Duo processors, for example, quite a few changes have taken place. * Clock speed - newer processors generally run at higher speeds; this is a measure of how quickly the processor can operate, expressed in hertz. This is not the only relevant figure when comparing different processors. * Number of cores - in the last couple of years, chip makers have touted the number of cores on their processors; think of each one as a separate mini-computer of sorts, able to complete its own tasks; a limitation with multi-core processors is the software, which often cannot take full advantage of multiple cores. For further information, please clarify the question, and perhaps the intended purpose (is this information intended to help with an upcoming purchase or simply personal edification?).

The Second Generation Computer used transistors
1g 1st Generation, 2g 2nd Generation and so on. Refers to version of technology.
Reinstall you computer its not the Ipod its your computer
It Means 4th Generation Language. Just like 2GL and 3GL . 2nd and 3rd generation languages respectively, the 4GL language derived from refinements and additions to the former GL versions. 1970-1990 mostly ! that's what i know about this =)
take it to the apple store

Communication Technology is devices like phones or anything that you can communicate with. It can even be with machines. It can also mean stuff about what technology USES to communicate. They would be 1g=analog signal, 2g=2nd generation (mobile network), 3G= 3rd generation mobile network, 3.5G= 3rd and a half mobile network, that would be in between 3G and 4G, and then 4G the newest mobile network, 3 times faster that 3G.
2nd generation.
