Evacuation started because Germany lost World War 1 and they wanted a piece of land that belonged to Poland so Germany invaded Poland when the rule was not to invade or go into other countries and then certain countries got involved because Germany didn't stop fighting with Poland at the time they were supposed to and then had to face war with most countries.Afterwards Germany then took a step to far and tried to invade Russia. Then mostly all the soldiers were killed by the Russian army. That was the time evacuation all started. It was called 'operation pied piper'.
