The United States Dignitary Protection Administration or USDPA as sometimes referred, is an elite, covert task force comprised of Agents from multiple Agencies that can be dispatched at a moments notice anywhere in the world to specifically protect and evacuate persons and their families deemed, classified VIPs by the government . The unit can only be activated by order of only four Members Of Government at Secretary Level. The members of the task force are considered the best and highly trained in the world. The identities of all operatives are considered highly classified.

The unit was formed in 1988 in Heidelberg Germany, under the authority and direction of the Commanding General, U.S. Army Europe or CINC USAREUR. The unit further expanded it's mission in 1993 under the direction and command of newly appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General John M. Shalikashvili. The Department of Defense and other Agencies deny the existence of the USDPA. As one Pentagon senior official stated " those guys, just don't exist "
