No one "invented" Renaissance art. The Renaissance emerged alongside the re-emergence of Humanism, which sparked a widespread curiosity that led to advancements in science, architecture, mathematics, art, literature, and more.

I suppose you could say that art patrons like churches or the Medici family played a huge role in the Renaissance; they are responsible for the creation of nearly all of the famous Renaissance works you know of today. Da Vinci's The Last Supper, for example, was commissioned for the dining hall of a monastery.

Other famous Renaissance artists include Michelangelo, Botticelli, Mategna, Titian, and Raphael.

As you can see, the Renaissance can't be attributed to just one person. It is, rather, the result of an entire culture that valued discovery and advancements.
