Thomas Overton Moore (born April 10, 1804 in Sampson County, North Carolina; died June 25, 1876 near Alexandria, Louisiana) succeeded Robert C. Wickliffe as the sixteenth Governor of Louisiana, serving between January 23, 1860 and January 25, 1864, including the whole of 1861.
