Mother of the Pharaoh TUTANKHAMEN Her name means "The beautiful one has come"
cleopatra, hatshepsut ,and neferititi
Neferititi Merythneith is the oldest, about 5000 years ago. She was buried with the honors of a ruling pharaoh. Soibeknefru. Hatseputh was pharaoh in her own right and a military leader. Cleopatra VII of course the most famous one of all.
One of the most famous queens of ancient Egypt is Cleopatra Ptolemy, even though she had more Greek blood than Egyptian. After enduring many hard times--including the death of her sisters, her father, and her younger brother--she finally died in tragedy when her lover, Mark Anthony, believed her to be dead, stabbing himself, and it turned out she was really alive and hiding from him within a church. he was brought to her and slowly died in her arms. She was the last queen of Ancient Egypt. Another well-acknowledged queen was Neferititi. (See are there some Egyptian queens)

Queen Neferititi was the beautiful wife of the infamous pharaoh Akhenaton. (The spelling of his name may often vary depending.) Apparently said to be incredibly enchanting, her intricate bust is very famous. Her husband was obsessed with the single sun god, Aton, and did not accept that there was any other god but him. He abolished the worship of all other gods, but many people did not agree with this. When he died, (though some ask whether he was murdered by a high priest or other) his name and picture, along with Neferititi's, were removed from many monuments. Then the reign of his son Tutankhamun began, though at the time he was only nine.
Queen Neferititi was the beautiful wife of the Pharaoh Akhenaton. A bust of her survives which portrays her with a light skin. Some scholars have speculated that she was not Egyptian but of European origin. The only significant European civilization at that time was the Minoan on Crete. So she might have come from Crete.
There have been a huge number--maybe even in the hundreds--of Egyptian kings--or Pharoahs--but what about the queens? A few lovely Egyptian ladies were Neferititi--the wife of the crazed king Akhnaten, whose obsession with the sun god Aten forced his people to remove his and his wife's names and portraits from every temple or building wall in the country--Kiya, another wife of Akhnaten, Hatshepsut (who posed as a Paroah, and even wore the artificial beard!) as well as Neferatari and Ankhsenamun, formerly the Armarna princess known as Ankhsenpaaten before she married her half-brother Tutankhamun and changed her name, as was common at that time.
