Judaism is a belief, not a race. You can be any race and still be Jewish. But it was believed at the time that being Jewish was a race because they had a distinctive look (curly hair, big nose).

At the time of Hitler becoming the fuhrer of Germany, Germany was in a depression and Hitler felt that because Jews usually worked in the accounting/banking field that they were to blame.

He believed in a full aryan world but his biggest enemies in his eyes were the Jews. Disabled (mentally or physically imperfect), philosphers, artists, Gypsies and more were also killed. If you're wondering "why didn't he kill black people as well?" well the answer is that there just wasn't that many in Germany.
