Well, actually they were jews, just not the ones who followed Jesus. You see, those people didn't think that Jesus was the Son of God, they thought that was blasphemy. So Gods' plan of how the world would run until it comes to an end, was halfway through... Jesus rose from His death.
In past story of Eretz Israel an important Jewish Man say to an important not-jewish Man that it is not good thing to hear a christian man who want speak with the second not-jewish man: there is difference between Romans and Christian also in our time
The Romans did not want a king because they did not want person to be in charge that is why they elected TWO Consuls
Jesus' followers did not want him to be crucified. Jesus, himself, did not entirely want to be crucified, but he saw the necessity of it and allowed himself to endure the pain for the greater good.
There is controversy as to why the temple was destroyed. Some sources say that the Jews set fire to it, others say that the Romans set fire to it, still others say that it was destroyed by accident. The ancient writers say that Titus did not want the building destroyed, but in the fighting a fire started and grew out of control. The Christian writers claim that it was destroyed as a fulfillment of Christ's prophesy. There is controversy as to why the temple was destroyed. The Romans did not want Jesus. Jesus was taken to Poltius Pilates, the Roman governor of Judea by the Jewish judges of the Sanhedrin. They considered Jeusus to be a blasphemous heretic and wanted the Romans to execute him.
Jesus' trial was set before the Roman court and the Jews were asking for the Romans to crucify Jesus, a punishment given only to the worst of the worst. The Jews decided to argue that his crime was that he was trying to start a rebellion and take over Rome. This wasn't true and Pontius Pilate could see that it wasn't true and so did not want to crucify him. The only reason that he gave in was because he realized that if he didn't the Jews trying to crucify him would probably create a massive rebellion instead. In the interests of the nation, he decided that killing one to stop many deaths was best, so Jesus was not killed for any real crime and so there was nothing that he could do.
The only way to be crucified is to be nailed on a cross. The Romans crucified him on A.D 29. When the nailed him to the cross, the cross was outside of a city for visitors to see what will happen if they don't follow the laws.
They wanted to crucify him.
Israel did not want a Christ; however the Jews have sought a messiah in every age of persecution or discontent. Note: Although Christ and Messiah have the same origin (annointed one), in the English language today, they have different meanings.
From the Jewish perspective, it's an option, NOT an obligation, for Jews to return to Israel. When the Messiah comes, the Jews will return to Israel because of a desire to be close to the spirituality of the Messiah. For a number of Christian Zionist groups, Jews must return to Israel to bring on Armageddon and the End of Days. They want this outcome so that Jesus Christ can return and create the Kingdom of God on Earth.
The Jews pressed Pilate to crucify Jesus, as the Jews did not have the power to crucify anybody, only the Romans had power. Technically the Romans crucified Jesus.Answer:The Pope has said that the Jews are not to blame in the killing of Jesus. See the attached Related Link.
The Jews were not chosen to crucify Jesus Christ. God is our Father, and just like a father knows what his young child might do in certain situations, God our Heavenly Father knows the actions we will take, even if He might not approve of them. God knew that most of the Jews of that time would not accept Jesus, He didn't choose them to do it or want them to do it, He simply knew that they would.God's perfect plan for us, His children, required that Jesus Christ be crucified to atone for our sins. Because God knows and understands all things perfectly, He knew that sending Jesus to earth at that time to those people would result in the crucifixion. He didn't specifically choose the Jews, nor did He make the Jews do it - He only knew that they would make that choice.
The Jews were angry as he , Jesus said he was the son of god, the Romans were against him as they did not want their empire toppled.

The Romans did want a strong emperor to stop the civil wars that racked the Roman Republic.
I assume you refer to Paul (referred to as Saul before his conversion). Some Jews did hear and accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but the majority, especially the Jewish leaders, did not accept it. In fact they wanted nothing more than to kill and silence the prophets of Christ. Paul, an apostle, through direction from a vision, went and preached the Gospel to the Gentiles. (Jews believed Gentiles to be less superior and unable to obtain Gods mercy and grace because they weren't of the "chosen people"). This, of course, angered the Jews and made them want to silence these men even more. So, the answer is yes and no; some Jews chose to follow Christ through the disciple's teachings, but the majority did not.
