Why did Malcom X die?

Malcolm X (1925-1965) was shot down by three gunmen during a speech on February 21, 1965 at the Audubon Ballroom in Washinton Heights (Harlem) NY. After founding the Organization of Afro-American Unity, a black nationalism group, he was widely denounced by his former associates at the Nation of Islam. Three men were convicted of his murder, and served prison terms of 21, 27, or 32 years.
Malcolm X was assassinated at a speaking engagement in the Manhattan's Audubon Ballroom on February 21, 1965.

was an African-American civil rights leader, but, unlike Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., wanted his freedom by violence. He served 10 years in jail. He's born Malcom Little. KKK killed his father when he was young, so his mom went through emotional breakthroughs throughout the years. He said:

"When my mother was pregnant with me, she told me later, a party of hooded KKK riders galloped up to our home.... Brandishing their guns and rifles, they shouted for my father to come out." For his mom's emotional breakthroughs, Malcom X and his brothers and sisters have been through many diffrent orphanages and foster homes. Malcom was a smart student, and wanted to be a lawyer. His teacher(a white person, probably) said: "no realistic goal for a nig(i can't but the full word, but it ends in 'ger')", and for that, he lost interest and dropped out, then went to Boston.

Malcolm X did not want freedom through violence. he was in jail for 10 years because he was caught stealing t so that he could get money to survive. He died because he was shot 16 times by some white men.
