Mussolini did not surrender, he was removed from office by the Grand Fascist Council, arrested, and later freed by German special forces led by Otto Skorzeny. The fact that Fascist opposition against the invading Allies quickly crumbled and that Italy started suing for peace or at least an armistice. The Grand Council of the Fascist Party had by then already deposed Mussolini as its leader, and the King had fired him as Prime Minister. The Nazis did not break ties with Mussolini at that point. Surrender of Italy to the Allies would mean that Germany faced immediate invasion from the south. So the Nazis forcibly reinstated Mussolini and used him as a pretext to replace the crumbling Italian defence by a strong German army. Mussolini was kept in power by the Germans until the very end of WW 2. Only when the German troops finally retreated they left him to his fate. Mussolini was discovered when he tried to flee in a German convoy, was arrested and shot.

with the death of Hitler and Mussolini and the surrender of Germany, Italy and Japan (Axis)
The Italians executed Benito Mussolini and set up a temporary government until the war was over. King Victor Emmanuel III replaced Mussolini with Marshal Pietro Badoglio. It was the King who ordered Mussolini's arrest, trial, conviction and execution. The free Italians were deliriously thrilled. They were so glad to surrender to the Allied Forces and join them.
On September 8th 1943, Italy rose against Mussolini and formed the "Kingdom Of Italy" however, 14 days later on September 22nd, Mussolini and his followers formed the RSI or Italian Social Republic in order to continue their fight. When Mussolini was killed on April 25th 1945 the Italian Social Republic surrendered on April 29th. Three days later Berlin was captured and Germany fell. So in truth while Italy did surrender first they in reality didn't surrender in 1943 but in fact 1945.
Yes Mussolini had children. Some of them were Edda Mussolini, Romano Mussolini, Bruno Mussolini and Vittorio Mussolini.
No, Mussolini is not single.
Mussolini's downfall was primarily precipitated by Italy's military failures during World War II, particularly the disastrous campaigns in North Africa and the invasion of the Soviet Union. His alliance with Nazi Germany increasingly isolated Italy and led to widespread discontent. In July 1943, Mussolini was ousted from power by the Grand Council of Fascism, and later arrested by King Victor Emmanuel III. Following Italy's surrender to the Allies in September 1943, Mussolini was rescued by German forces but ultimately captured and executed by Italian partisans in April 1945.
