In 1940, the US Navy's Battleship Fleet transferred to Pearl Harbor, from it's old base in Los Angeles (Long Beach), California. Obtain the book: "Day of Deceit: The Truth About FDR and Pearl Harbor." (2000); By Robert B. Stinnett.
It didnt
This was because the soldiers were not at their posts and they didnt do any drills so they knew the Americans were vulnerable This was because the soldiers were not at their posts and they didnt do any drills so they knew the Americans were vulnerable
japan attacked pearl harbour because they thought it would severely hamper anericans fighting force ,and then japan could win the war .what they didnt bargain for was all Americas aircraft carriers were not at pearl harbour.AnswerNagumo was also advised to make a 3rd attack on pearl harbour. But! he decided against it. This lead to America's fuel tanks surviving as well as 3 other battle ships surviving and more people surviving. All in all, it was a surviving sort of choice :DPal
Pearl Harbor was important because it was the site at which Japanese naval action brought the US into World War 2. Despite Japanese efforts to ensure that war was declared 30 minutes in advance of the surprise attack, communications in Washington DC between diplomats were delayed and the attack came before war was declared. This enraged the US population and ensured a war to "unconditional surrender."
I didnt know how many naval bases were bombed after peral, but the Japanese took a lot of U.S. territories we won from the spanish American war like Guam and the Philipine Islands.
he didnt lead pearl harbor he was president of the usa but he did avenge pearl harbor by declaring war on japan
yes, they had some resources that the U.S. was going to be attacked, but they didnt know who,so 50/50
It didnt
They didnt mean to it was the WONG place
Because up until Japan bombed us at Pearl Harbor, we hadn't declared war with anyone.I'm not exactly sure if this is what you meant, but I hope it helps.

They didnt attack it, they demanded it from Vichy France, and it was in 1940.
they didnt care until pearl harbor
Because it was not until the US Fleet was attacked at Pearl Harbor that the US had just cause to declare war.The united states didnt want to get involbed so the stayed neutral
well japan was after more land in there empire so they desided to take china which made the united states cut the oil to japan so they could slow the empire down japan didnt take it kindly and knew that they would enter the war soon so japan desided to try and cripple there navy in the hope to slow them down Japanese bombers and fighter took off from aircraft carriers just off of Hawaii and snook around the island taking out any radio stations and any camunications which could give them away then they attacked pearl harbor this did affect the usa but not to there desired effect because the us navy aircraft carriers were out of the harbor at that time. hope that helped
