The Berlin Wall is the most popular tourist spot in Germany. The Berlin Wall doesn't still stand today. You can still find parts of the wall still standing so tourists could see what used to be the Berlin Wall that divided north and south Germany.

It's hard to answer generally, because i think it depends on the interests of someone.

But here are some ideas

As cities i think Berlin and Munich are very interesting.

Also famous are Rothenburg o.d. Tauber with its historic city center, Schloss Neuschwanstein, a romantic castle which was model for Disneys Cinderella castle, Valley of the Rhine river, with it's castles and steep vineyards.

If you like party, visit the "Oktoberfest" in Munich, or the carnival in Cologne.

Germany has Munich. Germany has Berlin. Both are unique among all cities in the world. The uniqueness is worth experiencing, it's more than roads and buildings. Germany has castles. Neuschwanstein, just one of them, is the classic castle of all time. Germany has Oberammergau the location of the famous Passion Play. Germany is beautiful.
