The Supreme Court was against the New Deal. The Supreme Court took a legal view at it and decrlared most of it unconstitutional and illegal. The biggest opposer of the New Deal was Huey Long who critisized Hoover since the New Deal's point was to "Share our Wealth." Huey Long argued that Hoover was not dooing enough to help the poverty stricken in America.
