it was considered illegal by some because the U.S. Constitution at the time did not contain any provisions for acquiring new territory.
I checked the Louisiana state exotic animal regs. Coyotes aren't on it. The people who've tried raising coyotes say it is absolutely not worth it.
because it was lucky
It didn't say anything. Jefferson took it on because it was too good of a deal to pass up.
Louisiana's Fastest Man, Jeryl "Jet" Brazil. Some people say he might be a fake.
It was violated because it did not say anywhere in the Constitution that the president could buy or sell land, But after much consideration he did make the settlement. The argument can be made that the Louisiana Purchase by President Jefferson was unconstitutional since there are no rights listed for the President to expand the borders of the United States. Supporters of this action however argue that Jefferson was acting as a treaty with France and Spain in the purchase and therefore it was constitutional.
The Louisiana Purchase is "la vente de la Louisiane" in French.
it seems to be that way...still checking though....i am in NJ and some say it is ok ...and some sites say "will not ship"
The Louisiana Territory usually refers to the vast area purchased from France in 1803. It consisted of all the land drained by the Mississippi- Missouri River complex. Some would say that The Territory of Louisiana was created by the US after the Louisiana Purchase in 1805 and was renamed the Missouri Territory in 1812.

I think one would say Thomas Jefferson who negotiated the Louisiana Purchase from France.

alot of people would argue and say that it was the Louisiana Purchase, but it was actually the Mexican Cession. Addition: This is the problem when people randomly answer questions. The Mexican Cession was just over half a million square millions. The Louisiana Purchase was over 800,000 square miles. Maybe the original person who wrote this was thinking square km since the Mexican Cession is larger if one places it in KM and the Louisiana Purchase in square miles. However, if you convert one, you have to convert the other and that means the latter would still be larger.
In some states like Ohio
