WWI trench life was extremally boring because you never knew what was coming from one day to the next, the soldiers had to ammuse them selves for day on end sometimes up to more then a month, nobody ever new when there would be a raid and when they would be needed, the troops would always have to keep low incase of attack, some people even went mental in trenches because you were stuck in the same spot woth very little to do, you would have been lucky to have had a pack of cards to play.
