The question presumes that slavery was worse, however the counter is true. The treatment received by those incarcerated by the Nazis was far worse than most American and especially British slaves ever encountered. Aside from transport from Africa, the slaves, in America at least, experienced a standard of living far above that of the average white subsistence farmer. Slaves had inherent worth. While they were treated largely as livestock, the represented an huge investment on the part of plantation owners, far more than that earned by average yearly wages for the common worker.
Those arrested by the Nazis and placed in the camps cost the Nazis nothing to acquire. While there was some investment in transport, camp construction, wages of troops and guards, and final dispositions of those terminated, the resources generated by the free labor was substantially more.
Never make the mistake of guessing without knowing something regarding history. Never make the mistake as well of comparing one period of history with another (including the present).
personally, i think the potato famine was absolutely worse than the Jewish holocaust.... the potato famine killed a million irish people.
Names of the holocaust
Worse than others, they were primary targets, so guns were on them and their crooked nose's first :)
It is difficult to say which of the 2 events between the Rwandan genocide or the Holocaust was worst. Both events were atrocious and in both events innocent people died and suffered. In the Holocaust a lot more people died than in the Rwandan genocide, 6 million as opposed to about 1 million, but the Rwandan genocide was a lot shorter than the Holocaust. In events like this you can't say which event was worse than the other one, both were equally bad and nothing like either of these events should ever happen again.
the Holocaust ended through military intervention. Slavery officially ended around the turn of the nineteenth century through political means. (or sixty years later in the US) Though many forms of slavery still exist today.
Same as what happened to the slaves who did not stop slavery in the States, only much worse.
the holocaust
The Holocaust.
The Holocaust.
It was much worse than slavery in the America's.

In my opinion, the holocaust was the worst ever, but if u want me to go worse, how about the black plague? It killed about 1/3 of Europe's population! Search it on google for more info.
NEVER ! Human life is ALWAYS more valuable than animal life, and I love my animals very much.

Well, both are pretty bad. However, Nazis occasionally used slavery, in addition to war and murder. So that seems like it's considerably worse than just slavery by itself.
It was not smaller. Slavery has been going on for thousands of years. Owning people was common and a sign of status well into the 1600s. It has been illegal in most western countries since the start of the ninteenth century and in the US a few generations later. But slavery still exists, but in other and in some cases much worse forms.
