Because African Americans used to be slaves. When Abraham Lincoln became president, his plan was to stop slavery from spreading but the Southern states thought he was going to abolish slavery. The Civil War begun and the Union won. The 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery, was also passed. After abolishing slavery, African Americans were treated badly because of their race. That's how it started.
Segregation based on race, gender, and socioeconomic status still exists in various forms today. This can be seen in housing patterns, educational opportunities, and employment practices that perpetuate inequality and discrimination. It is important to address these issues and work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society.

De facto segregation is a law requiring specific segregation practices. At one time, there were laws saying that black and white races had to use different restroom facilities. Du jour segregation is general or common practice among people regarding segregation. The club scene has different ethnic patrons going to different clubs.
Cultures create cultural segregation because when one culture is separate from another culture they are going to have separate ides and values, so when someone outside from their community/world come in. The people aren't necessarily going to believe what the person is going to say or do. So, the person is going to be judged by looks and the way they talk also because of different backgrounds.
It's important to stay positive and focus on solutions rather than problems. Remember that challenges are opportunities for growth and learning. Seek support from others and take small steps towards your goals.
