There were several Greek victories over Persia over 150 years.
The culminating one of Alexander's total defeat and taking over of the Persian Empire had several results:
I don't think the Nazi persecution of the Jews had any bearing on the '''outcome''' of World War 2. The war (unlike the Holocaust) was not about the Jews.
The battles of Issus (333 BCE) and Gaugamela (331 BCE) were pivotal in the history of the ancient world as they marked significant victories for Alexander the Great against the Persian Empire, leading to the fall of Persian dominance. These battles showcased Alexander's military genius and strategic innovation, allowing him to expand his empire across vast territories. The outcomes facilitated the spread of Hellenistic culture, influencing art, science, and governance in the regions he conquered. Ultimately, they set the stage for the cultural and political landscape of the Mediterranean and Near East for centuries to come.
The outcome of World War I had a dramatic effect on the course of Middle East history primarily because it replaced Ottoman control with British and French occupation. Subsequently, independence of diverse Arabic states was achieved and then, most significantly, the nation of Israel was created. Thus, the outcome of the First World War created the conditions of the Middle East as it stands today.
Swords were last used in significant numbers in World War I, primarily by cavalry units. The use of swords in war had become largely symbolic rather than strategically significant by that time.

The world entered the atomic age on that day.
Western history would have moved on regardless of the Persian War. Had the Persians won the war, the elasticity of the Greek world would have thrown it off. Alexander the Great, inheritor of a Macedonia which was a vassal of Persia at the time of the Persian War, demonstrated this when he conquered the Persian Empire.

Some interesting history to study. The world moved on after the fall of the empire.
There would be few competent historians who would think that. It was a war which was a small chapter in the span of world history. Its influence in world political history was very minor - a Persian attempt to impose peace on the eastern Mediterranean failed and the Greek city-states continued on fighting each other as usual.

The world needed peace and the atomic bombing brought it.
Mohandas Gandhi was directly significant in the history of India, South Africa, and the United Kingdom; and indirectly significant throughout the rest of the world.
his achievements are significant because he changed the lives of all of his people and a huge part of our world history. without him the world would be a different place.
The Assyrians and Phoenicians cities and writings and not much compared to the Persian, Hebrew and the Egyptian contributions to history because that history is much longer.
