The Renaissance Period was characterized by domination of the Christian faith - and was one of mankind's most successful and productive epochs.

Those leaders influence by the peaceful, cooperative, universal ethics of Christianity were obviously against the pernicious influence of Judaism with it's emphasis on Jewish rights and values - as opposed to universal values espoused by Christianity. Though Jews brought monetary gain - and they also brought much inequity, vice and subterfuge as per their religious beliefs - i.e anti-gentilism, Jewish supremacism etc . As such European leaders sought the removal of these elements, most thought quite understandably.

One of the most promising and successful periods in history was brought to an end by Napoleon's emancipation of the Jews in the late 1700s...
