The "amazing water trick" typically refers to a simple science demonstration where a glass filled with water is inverted and a piece of cardboard is placed over the opening. When the glass is turned upside down, the cardboard holds the water in due to atmospheric pressure, which is greater than the pressure exerted by the water. The trick relies on the balance between gravity pulling the water down and the air pressure pushing up against the cardboard, creating a seal that prevents the water from spilling out. This demonstration elegantly illustrates the principles of air pressure and cohesion.
The trick where you stick a sleeping person's hand into warm water, in order to make them wet the bed, doesn't work [It was busted by Mythbusters]. Although, I think they should have used a bigger sample size...

There is not a specific trick that turns water to ice in 5 seconds. The temperature around the water and ice is what determines how fast the water will freeze.
