What are the advantages and disadvantages of Valentine's Day?

ADVANTAGES:

It makes the perfect excuse for telling the person you are in a relationship with, or want to be, that you care about them. It's encouraged and socially acceptable for guys to be romantic on that day. There are a million cute ideas of things you can do, gifts you can give, that are easily accessible, like heart shaped items and greeting cards.

DISADVANTAGES. If you are alone, or lonely, or have recently broken up with a significant other, it can make you even sadder. If you work in a flower shop for example, it can be very depressing making beautiful bouquets for other boy's girlfriends when you have nobody to send flowers to you.
