THE GREAT PUMPKIN

Linus hopes to witness the Great Pumpkin's arrival and prove his existence, showcasing his faith and dedication to the legend despite the skepticism of his friends.
Charlie Brown's friend Linus believes in the Great Pumpkin. Basically, he's like Santa Claus. Except it's on Halloween night that the Great Pumpkin flies through the air to give candy to all the good little boys and girls. He also makes an appearance at the pumpkin patch that is the most 'sincere'.

Your first task is to go to the Pumpkin Patch, where you will help Linus select a pumpkin for Lucy, then roll it back to their house. Once you deliver it, Linus gives you the bag to give to Pigpen, and Pigpen gives you the lemon sucker to give to Linus. You will get the party invitation, then you can go left into Charlie brown's yard for the leaf game.
The Great Pumpkin is a legendary entity (probably non-existent) that Linus believes will bring treats to "the most sincere pumpkin patch" on Halloween. He has never appeared in the comic strip, or in the 1966 Peanuts movie special that regularly airs on TV, entitled "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
