Well i assume this is in comparison to America as not many individuals like to know the some unique about our Christmas hahah but to highlight some differences would include the fact that its summer over here when Christmas takes place, i am still yet to experience any door to door caroler's, the usual display of all vs all in the shopping mall's doesn't really exist, people go faster but never inhibit any violence , some other unique aspects of Christmas in Australia would include assuming others dont do this; street Christmas decorations, BBQ's, Christmas decoration competition*(some houses go more then all out) and so on. You will find Australia being similar to America over Christmas but having summer rather then winter changes the way we celebrate the holiday all together and its something you can only experience through visiting.
i have no idea ha ha ha
No. African nations where Christmas is celebrated also experience hot weather, as do some areas of South America.
There are no particular festivities celebrated in winter in Australia. Some individuals and groups celebrate "Christmas in July" as an informal celebration, but there is no religious significance attached to this.

Australia's Christmas is unique because December 25 falls right in the middle of Summer. As Australia is already a hot continent, it means Christmases may be either celebrated outdoors around the backyard pool, with a barbeque, or at the beach, or inside with the air-conditioning on full. Some regions enjoy a more temperate climate, but extremes of weather on Christmas Day can mean one is in the middle of a heatwave, or enduring a summer storm or monsoonal rains. Christmas lights displays and nativity displays often feature the concept of Christ as a baby in the Australian Bush, surrounded by kangaroos, koalas and other native fauna. Rather than snow-covered scenes, Christmas cards may illustrate a "Surfin' Santa", or white boomers (large kangaroos) pulling the sled.
Being an English-speaking nation, with its roots going back to British settlement, Australians naturally call this celebration Christmas.
All countries in the Souther Hemisphere have Christmas during summer. These countries have summer during December, January and Februrary. Some examples are Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.
Christmas Day is December 25, though in some areas it is celebrated throughout December and a small part of January.
New zealand and Australia both have cultures that are based in chritianity and European culture so it is very similar to the way it is celebrated in England The USA and the rest of Europe.
Christmas is celebrated on Dec. 24th
Christmas in New Zealand has unique food, gifts, traditions, festivals and other jolly adventures. This includes cougnou, a special New Zealand breakfast that is made just for Christmas. As opposed to other areas, people like to have fun in the sun, going to beaches and theme parks with their families.
