The stain glass windows taught the stories, passion plays, and the celebrations all taught the Bible to the population of the parish. Based on the biblical tradition of Jesus rising from the grave after 3 days the church actually made Easter on Monday rather than Sunday. This is the case in Europe today, but the United States has it on Sunday.
