I'm no expert, but I'd say NO. I'd attempt to wash them in a washing machine if they were truly filthy, but otherwise I use a baby wipe to clean up the outside and baby powder to keep the insides smelling nice. I wouldn't want to put my shoes in the same place I wash my dishes--blech! Most sneakers aren't designed to withstand that much water.
I have. If they are solid white you can poor some bleach in there with the shoes.
You can throw them in the washing machine (or even the dishwasher - it's more gentle), but the leather may crack. You're better off scrubbing them patiently with a toothbrush.
