I'm no expert, but I'd say NO. I'd attempt to wash them in a washing machine if they were truly filthy, but otherwise I use a baby wipe to clean up the outside and baby powder to keep the insides smelling nice. I wouldn't want to put my shoes in the same place I wash my dishes--blech! Most sneakers aren't designed to withstand that much water.
tennis shoe yes. I even use some bleach some times. But leather shoes no
Tennis shoes is a whole lot better.
Try using spirit but only use it if your tennis shoe has white leather ,the spirit may change the color of colored leather shoes
Most tennis shoes are machine washable. Wash them on a gentle cycle and air dry.
Horse-Racing!
Hi there! I work at Capezio and I wouldn't advise you to wash our jazz shoes as it will shrink the leather.
Some canvas shoes, if they are good and well built, can be put right in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. For leather shoes, use a leather cleaner. Don't use water to clean suede shoes, find a special cleaner and use protectant on them to keep them in good condition. For just normal tennis shoes, if you want them to stay white, a kitchen cleaner, or soap and water always gets the dirt off!
well if its the regular ballet shoes like the ones that are leather or cloth. You can use hand sanitiser for the leather ones. That works really well. and for the cloth i would just wash them.
To get the smell of muddy pig poop off of clothes and tennis shoes, visit the pet store. They will have products to get this unpleasant smell out of clothing. You can then wash the clothing in the washing machine with some of the product, and scrub your tennis shoes with the product.
With a blow dryer. Not your actually dryer.
