Chevrolet 350s are REAL easy to upgrade to electronic ignition because there are so many of them, there's a vast number of aftermarket parts available. The easiest way is to buy an MSD Ready to Run distributor, install it and be happy. You can plug an MSD 6A box into it, but you don't have to.
Yes you can upgrade to a 350 but only if it is an Oldsmobile 350 and you will need to use small block olds toronado intake from a 307 so you will have hood clearance-you may need to enlarge ports in intake to match 350 head ports but probably not much. You can use your 307 heads on the 350 but I would put bigger valves in those heads before I used them with a 350 and porting would not hurt if you want much performance. The Olds 350 will have a lot more power stock than the 307
yes

Yes it does work. However you will also need to use the 22 lb injectors for the 350. To get the full benefits from the upgrade you should get a 350 chip burned. The computers are the same but the chips are different. This is all considering if the swap is for a lb9 (305) to a l98 (350).
Some have a indent that fits 3/8 ratchet on base of arm
Yes, cable can be adjusted . Somewhere in the main brake cable there is a square frame adjuster you change with 2 wrenches.
