it is used because it is :)
Andrew Carnegie did not cut the quality of his products in the process of gaining control of a significant percentage of the steel industry. His net worth, in today's dollars, was $298.3 billion.
I'm just an ordinary high school student who is actually studying about the industrial revolutions.. and I've come to the fact that Philippines has no Industrial revolution yet. As of today, The Philippines is considered to be starting its industrialization, so there is no revolution yet no big changes has happen yet but when big changes happens with the industrialisation then it becomes a revolution of industry. But as of today, I believe that the Philippines are concentrating on agricultural industry which can lead to a better industry.... Read The industrial Revolution in England... as of now Philippines is improving its agricultural industry same thing happened in England when the industrial revolution started.. They started with their agriculture then it led to factories and then technology development.. so yeah you can say that Philippines is still like starting andengland and some other countries like Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, Which are already on technology development.
The main problem facing the maritime industry today is the need to balance environmental sustainability with economic growth. Growing regulatory pressures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and manage marine pollution are challenging traditional operations, while supply chain disruptions and rising fuel costs further complicate logistics. Additionally, the industry grapples with a workforce shortage and the need for technological advancements to enhance efficiency and safety. Addressing these interconnected issues is crucial for the industry's future viability.
The main shipbuilding industry in the region was centered around the construction of wooden sailing ships, particularly during the 17th to 19th centuries. This industry thrived due to the availability of abundant timber resources and skilled labor, leading to the production of vessels for trade, fishing, and naval purposes. Shipyards became vital economic hubs, contributing significantly to local economies and maritime commerce. The legacy of this shipbuilding tradition still influences the region's cultural and historical identity today.
The Bessemer converter is largely obsolete in modern steelmaking due to advancements in technology. While it was revolutionary in the 19th century for converting pig iron into steel, contemporary methods like the basic oxygen process and electric arc furnaces are more efficient and environmentally friendly. However, the principles of the Bessemer process laid the groundwork for these later innovations. Today, the Bessemer converter is primarily of historical interest rather than practical use.
it is used in fertilizers today and it supports about 40% of the population
Yes usually in the agricultural industry
The Haber process is used for making ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen. It affects humans by providing an industrial method of producing large quantities of ammonia. Because of the fertilizer produced from the ammonia, we were able to avoid the "Malthusian Catastophe", which predicted that human population growth would outpace agricultural growth. Today, one-third of the world's population is sustained by the Haber process. If for some reason you meant "What would happen to a human if he were subjected to the Haber process," he'd die. The human body isn't designed to tolerate temperatures of over 300oC or even anywhere near it. Pressures of over 150 times normal atmospheric pressure aren't good either.
While the Haber process for ammonia production was developed over a hundred years ago, it is not considered outdated as it is still widely used today on an industrial scale. Continuous improvements have been made to the process to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact, making it a key process in fertilizer production.
Fritz Haber was born on December 9, 1868 and died on January 29, 1934. Fritz Haber would have been 65 years old at the time of death or 146 years old today.
Some common BPMS used in the industry today include IBM Business Process Manager, Pega Platform, Appian, and Oracle BPM Suite.
See link below for a discussion of the process. Nitrogen which reacts very little at normal temperatures and pressures, is placed under heat and pressure, and is reacted with hyrogen gas over a catalyst, forming ammonia.
The research into the production of ammonia took place in a laboratory at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany led by Fritz Haber and Carl Bosch in the early 20th century. They developed the Haber-Bosch process, which revolutionized ammonia production and is still widely used today in the manufacture of fertilizers.
Similarities between farm labor in the 1930s and today include the physical demands of the work and the importance of agricultural practices. Differences include advances in technology and mechanization, which have increased efficiency and productivity in modern farming. Additionally, there have been improvements in labor rights and regulations to protect workers in today's agricultural industry.
Plasma Cutting is process by which all types of conducting materials can be cut. This is an economic commonly used process for steel cutting in the industry today.
