Steel and Titanium
Steel mixed with the element Manganese to give a very hard, strong steel alloy. Most likely used for machinery.
According to my calculations, Carbon Steel was used thousands of years ago, because, if carbon steel swords were invented thousands of years ago then- heres a question: if carbon steel swords was invented back then, then what made carbon steel swords? the same thing we use to make carbon steel, which is mainly carbon and iron. The carbon, when mixed with molten iron, in fixed proportions, steel of varying strengths are formed. Steel is strong since the carbon atoms enter the metallic lattice of iron the difference in size of the carbon and iron atoms restrict movement of the layers (atoms) hence when a force is applied, the steel resists. by 11SHIFT
That depends on what you want it for. Ti can be as strong as steel, but a lot lighter, which can be useful. However, Ti is a lot more expensive, so unless weight is really important, you might prefer steel anyhow.Steel can also be made more wear resistant, and is easier to make good cutting tools of, which is important in some cases.
Welding EN42 steel, a high-carbon steel known for its hardness and strength, requires specific techniques to ensure a strong joint. Preheating the steel to around 200-300°C (392-572°F) helps reduce the risk of cracking. Using suitable filler materials, such as low-alloy steel electrodes, and post-weld heat treatment can improve ductility and relieve residual stresses. Proper shielding gas and welding methods, like TIG or MIG, are also essential for achieving a quality weld.
Strong as Steel was created in 1990.

steel is good because it is strong
Steel wire is strong.
it's very strong
Metals like steel are strong in room temperature. If you want anymore, search for metals as strong as steel :)
Iron is soft, and not as strong as steel.
