Paper based database as the name suggest is all on paper. Thus we cannot organize it properly and if anyone did it will not be easy to handle and manage. Paper based database requires extensive labor.
It takes forever to find things. Data ages and is difficult to update. Fire hazard. Duplicate entries, because it is hard to find. Storage limitations. It takes up room. I know that is not 2, but paper based databases are worthless, and I am trying to explain why. At least use excel. im my own words: data can be lost easaly and if you need to make a copy you'd have to write it all again
Limited storage capacity: Paper-based databases have limited storage capacity compared to digital databases, making it challenging to store and retrieve large amounts of data efficiently. Prone to physical damage: Paper records are more susceptible to damage from accidents, such as fire, water, or wear and tear, putting the data at risk of being lost or corrupted.
Paper database is a traditional way of storing information. It has the following disadvantages :1) The data is not easy to handle , complete human effort required . 2) The data can be easily lost and also difficult to manage. 3) The data is difficult to access, everything has to be done manually.
Two advantages of using a database over paper are increased data security through user access control and faster data retrieval through querying capabilities. Additionally, databases allow for easier data manipulation and organization compared to paper records.
The SQL command UPDATE can be used to change contents of one database using the contents of another database by joining them on a common key field. You would typically use a query with a join condition between the two tables based on the common key field to update the fields in the target table with values from the source table.

There are two primary variations of deductive database systems: expert database systems and knowledge-based database systems. Deductive databases differ from these two types of databases in one major respect: In the case of expert or knowledge-based databases, the data needs to be present in the primary memory of the computer. However, in a deductive database, this restriction is not present. The data can be in primary or secondary memory.
Manual or paper-based and electronic.

Multimedia is based on two key concepts; integration and interactivity while hypermedia is based on a relational database organisation
The disadvantages of an economy based on one or two cash crops is that if those crops fail, the economy fails. Most countries and areas have quite a few crops they grow which leads to a more stable economy.

Two types of patient records are electronic health records (EHRs), which are digital versions of patient charts, and paper-based medical records, which are physical documents containing patient information and medical history.
