yes i do think that orange and blue go together very nicely. but it has to be a darker blue not a baby blue. Orange and blue are opposites on the color wheel, therefore they complement each other.

No, just because they're on the opposite sides of the color wheel does not mean they are compatible. I've seen it worn and painted they don't go together at all.
