No if the computer is going to crash then a program can not keep it from crashing. If your computer is crashing immediately ,Press f12 or f7 before your computer initiates your OS and enter in SAFE MODE (this is for windows OS) . Then you will be able to diagnose your computer without worrying about it crashing. If you meant error reporting , Windows by default saves a dump file including the the reason why the crash occured. Look into that but it's not very useful if you have no experience in it.
