The blower motor may not be turning on due to a faulty motor, a blown fuse, a malfunctioning relay, or a problem with the thermostat. It is recommended to check these components to determine the cause of the issue.
Your blower motor relay went bad. You may also need to replace either the blower motor or one of the climate control sensors. If your blower motor squeals or makes a scraping sound it is going bad and will damage the blower motor relay. JQ
WEll, Since the ABS isn't as wire intensive as the blower motor and the blower motor is constantly turning, my first inclination woule be to disconnect the blower motor assuming a shorted out motor. This should be much easier than tampering with the ABS and much less detrimental if that isn't the problem.
Your AC blower fan may not be turning on due to a faulty motor, a malfunctioning capacitor, a broken belt, or a problem with the thermostat. It is recommended to have a professional HVAC technician inspect and repair the issue.
To test the blower motor in a 1994 Chevy truck, first ensure the vehicle is off and the key is removed. Disconnect the blower motor's electrical connector and use a multimeter to check for voltage at the connector while turning on the ignition and setting the fan speed. If there is voltage present but the motor does not operate, the motor may be faulty. If there's no voltage, check the blower motor resistor and related fuses for issues.
Blower motor fuse is blown. Blower motor resistor burned out. Blower motor switch bad. Blower motor bad.
If your blower motor is either not turning itself off, or randomly turning itself on with the ignition off (and you have auto climate control), the problem is the blower control module. Located directly behind the blower motor, it takes information from the climate control, and is in charge of turning the blower on/off. To replace the blower control module, remove the splash shield under the passenger side dash (there's 3 plastic retainers hold it in place). The blower control module is located behind the blower motor, and is held in with 3 bolts. The 2 rearmost bolts (by the firewall) only need to be loosened, and the front one removed. The entire unit rotates down and can then be replaced.
Blower motor: remove the glove box and you will see the blower motor and blower resistor.
usually the blower motor resistor pkg. located on or near the blower motor
If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. If the fuse is not blown, then it is possibly a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack, blower motor, or blower motor speed control switch, in that order. If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. The blower in your furnace may not be turning on due to a faulty motor, a malfunctioning thermostat, a clogged air filter, or an issue with the electrical connections. It is recommended to contact a professional HVAC technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
It's close to the blower motor.
The blower motor fuse protects the blower motor electrical circuit. The blower motor relay operates only the high speed function of the blower motor. The blower motor speed resistor operates the lower speed functions of the blower motor.
